Five Rules To Avoid Purchasing Fake Wholesale Video Games

No matter if your purchasing new video games or used video games for any gaming system from Sony, Microsoft or others, you want to put into practice the following rules.

This goes for Xbox video games, PS2 video games, Gamecube video games, and every other game on the market.

Anytime you come across any video game wholesaler or video game seller remember the first rule:

Brand new releases, popular, authentic games at ridiculously low prices do not exist. If you find a game advertised as new from a video game distributor and the price appears "too good to be true", you should be suspicious and skeptical. Especially if it's a game that is selling well in stores. Ask yourself, why would anyone sell a game like this for such a low price?

The most likely answer is because it's counterfeit.

The second rule is this:
If you find a wholesale video game distributor with several copies of an in demand game which is out of stock at most places, you must ask why do they have this game when most other stores don't? This is a huge red flag!

Often, you'll find these games sold on online auction sites. Make sure you read the descriptions closely as counterfeiters will be very general or ambiguous about the games they are selling. You may find that they do not disclose the authenticity of the game or give a manufacturer. They may just advertise cheap video games. After all, if they don't say it's real, they say you can't complain that it's a counterfeit! So make sure to check them out.

The third rule:
If a video game is listed as new but opened. If someone is selling a new game and it's been opened, make sure you understand why. If you are buying lots of a video games wholesale stock, then this should be a huge red flag!

The fourth rule:
When video games wholesalers advertises the game as new but they do not come with a box, sirens should be sounding! If they have no booklet or instruction manuals, they are more than likely a fake!

The fifth rule:
Note the video game wholesalers or sellers country of origin. Most knock-offs come from Asia so be very careful when dealing in those areas. If you're buying from a website or auction site, note the feedback, do research on the company online to see if you spot any negative reviews about games being fakes. 

Use common sense, be aware, ask a lot of questions and remember if it's too good to be true, it usually is.
